Merit Badges

You must earn 21 badges for Eagle Scout Advancement.

12 badges are required, and the other 9 are elective, meaning you can choose whichever ones interest you most.

References

You typically will provide at 3 references who can vouch that you exemplify the principles if the Scout Oath and Law in your Daily Life.

References could be parents, pastors, teachers, employers, or others.

Service Project

To achieve Eagle Scout Advancement, you need to complete a service project that benefits your community, church, or non-profit organization.  Talk to your ScoutMaster.
