Eagle Scout Badges

If you are advancing through the ranks as a Boy Scout, you’ll need to earn Eagle Scout badges as part of the requirements.  To become an Eagle Scout, you need to earn a total of 21 badges.  You need 6 badges to become a Star Scout, 5 more to become a Life Scout, and finally, 10 Eagle Scout badges to achieve the highest rank in the Boy Scouting of America.  12 of these badges are required, and the rest are elective, meaning you can pick whichever badge interests you most.  Earning your Eagle Scout badges is an important step in becoming an Eagle Scout.
